hot cams intake cam?

i found a hot cams stage I intake cam on ebay for really cheap, and was wondering if i would benefit from it alot. i have a white bros slip on, a uni air filter and rejetted. no other mods done to engine.

my buddies got same pipe but a K&N filter, and rejetted. HE got an intake cam and its woken it up some, id say go for it.

where did ur buddy notice the gains - low end, mid range, top end?

hotcams stage one is good for low-mid i heard good for woods but i heard it ticks alot sometimes... (correct me if im wrong anyone)

Hotcam Stage 1 on a 400ex ticks constantly when the quad gets warmed up. It's normal and nothing is wrong.

I didn't install it when I got mine, it was already on there. But whenever I got it it felt like it had a ton of midrange and a decent amount of top but not alot on the bottom end.

I just placed a old stage 2 in my 400 and a 10.8 compression je piston in my 400 and it has some insane low end power compared to what it was like before the rebuild. But im still breaking it in, its going to be nice. Hotcams can really do the job to wake up the 4-wheeler. Also my stage 2 ticks constantly.
