Here are pics of my stock 450R shocks re sprung and revalved by C&D. These guys treated me great with quick turn around time. I don't even have them on the bike yet, so I will let you know how they ride when I get a chance. They triple rated the front with TCS springs and dual rated the rear with Eibach. They also added one extra inch of travel to the rear. These are sweet!! Good economical alternative to expensive aftermarket shocks.

Where did you find the HRC stickers on your ressies? They say Honda racing in back below the HRC correct?

05-26-2005, 10:21 AM
dude, quit working on your bike and mow your yard!!!

lol

just kidding
quads come first!!

the HRC stickers came after I bought the quad, yes they do say Honda Racing Corporation on them. With a new purchase from Honda you automatically get a HRC membership for one year and they sent me stickers.

As for the yard, you are right--too much time in the garage and not enough in the yard--It will be cut tonight, I promise...

no. the first rebuilds they did colby was using elka springs and fabing his own parts. now he is using TCS springs on the rebuild. i had mine done with the TCS springs. i couldn't be happier with mine. they were set up for 210 lb. MX B class.

Hey Kyle- thanks for the compliment--I am trying to do my best on a budget. I am trying to go to Challenger this Sunday I have been talking with Dave Cavallo--B class He will be there Sunday and his brother will probably go too. I went on Mother's Day to Challenger but skipped out on the 2nd moto cause we didn't run our first until like 3:45 p.m.

WV speedfreak: Pyramid Valley is right off 79 near Clarksburg at the Lost Creek exit somewhere around exit 121 or something like that--its an outlaw track they mostly run nights under the lights but today was a day race.

As far as anyone asking questions about price, they did the front and rear re-spring and re-valve for I think $615. Not too bad considering the cost of aftermarket front and rear shocks, not to mention that Pro Action wanted over $400 just to revalve them and not even re spring them. Colby was extra cool and the turnaround time was great.

Anyone have a price for just a rear and does the conversion work with a gt thunder or herrmann linkage?

The C&D conversion does not use a linkage. DeRisi's conversion does use a linkage that looks identical to the GT Thunder one. Look at www.derisiracing.com. He did a great job on mine and is very helpfull with questions.
