I am thinking about getting rid of the stock balloon tires and my brother thinks I should get the Maxxis Razr tires.

Do any of you run these or have any other opinions on different tires?

Thanks!:D

I'm running 23" 6 ply Razr's on the front and 20" 6 ply on the rear.
I've had them on for about 4 months and they have held up well. No flats, excellent traction and they clean mud pretty well too. Just keep em off of the pavement.
I highly recommend them.

I love mine, but listen to redryder and STAY away from the pavement.

I have them on my 400. I like them alot. No flats and i went through some really rocky stuff. I recomend getting 6 ply and for the 300ex 22 in front and 20 inch in the rear. If you need more clearance get 23 inch in front and 22 in rear.

You would go with the 22" in the front too. Isn't that what stock was? I was thinkin of getting 21x7-10 for the front and 20x11-9 for the rear.

So I should go with the 6 ply? What's the big difference between the two? (And don't tell me 2ply);)

I said 22 just because I like more clearance in front and I don't think the difference in hieght really effects it that much. Go with 21 if you want.

6 ply is better because it is more durabe and resistant to punctures. It has a thicker sidewall and you are less prone to getting "snake bites". I don't really think it wieghs much more than 4 ply either.
