If the trails are narrow...neither. Get =2's its the most common and it will suit you just fine. Its not fun having a quad wider then the trail:D

the trails are wide and and there are enough jumps that i would like to have width to be wider

You do know Pro's don't make there quads wide for jumping, correct?

They make it wider because it corners better.

dont go plus 3 or 4 the first time you clip a tree and get nailed in the gut by your bars you will kicking your self about getting them. plus in a trail you wont have to worry about alot of speed like they do in desert racing which they run plus 3 and4 arms the wider the arm the more stable at speeds.

+2 Long Travel w/ a 4/1 rim to protect your calipers/spindles
put on 3/2 rim when you go to the dunes. for another 2" width. ;)

I do FT racing, and I raced with a +2 set up all year and just aded a 2/4 offset wheel. This works fine for FT racing but the offset wheel sucks for dirt riding. That would work good for a separate set up. I now run +3 AArms so I have some offset wheels if you need them;)

as long as we are not going WIDER is fine, my ole man doesnt understand the whole offest thing. hes unclear on the difference between a 3/2 and a 4/1. hes thinkgin the 4 is gonna make me 4 inches WIDER vs. a 3. Can someone be more detailed on the differences, maybe give me a link to a thread that als omay have some diagrams or something so I can better explain it to him. Thanks!! :)

On the original question, where in the world do you find +4 A-arms?
