ok i have a nextel i95 right now but i want to upgrade to a i860, i have the old sim card and im pretty sure the old one wont fit, or will it? if it dont fit how do i transfer my old stuff to the new sim card?

Yes it will fit just buy the new phone, take the sim out of the old phone and put it in the new one and all your info should be on there. As long as you are not switching servers you should be good.

have you tried this, because my phone is old and the sim card is bigger than what the new ones come with

Well in that case iam not sure, a few months ago i went from an i90 to an i730 and all i did was take the sim out of the old one and put it in the new one. But iam honestly not sure in your case.

the sim wont work from the i 95 to the 860..if you are buyin it from a nextel store than they will transfer all the info from ur old sim to the new one

why the hell would they make a phone that doesnt have transferable sim cards..the enginners at nextel definately deserve a raise for the brilliant idea!

i have the i205 and i was going to get the i830 but the sim card for the i830 is different than any other nextel........well thats wat the guy told me:ermm:

The sim will fit, I had a I-95 and an I730 and now an I860 and the Sim cards are all interchangeable. The difference is that the sim in the I95 only holds 200 contacts and the sim for the I860 holds 600.

is the 860 the $300 one that captures video?

i have an i530, i think i'm gonna renew my contract and get a new phone soon.

You may or may not be able to switch the cards. Like someone said before, the only drawback(maybe) is less contacts. I do know that you can take an i860 sim and swap it into an i730. I had to do that for a buddy who's phone crapped out on him. I am not sure about the i95-i860, best suggestion is either try it or download iden phonebook manager and then you can save your current phone book then transfer it onto your new phone.

Yes, I did before I realized that the other sim had more space on it.

well i guess the guy at the nextel store doesnt know wat he is talking about:D
