what quad?

im a new rider looking for a good quad for sand dunes little sahara,ok. i am a big guy bout 330 pounds. what is going to best quad for me ? any ideas. i know sand robbes quad of a lot of power, so i dont want anything too small cause of my size. thanks

For Dunes get a Banshee and build it,

If built right it will be very fast and will put a kfx and ds to shame.

The kfx 700 is automatic to so not as fun as manual, IMO

i have seen people your size and they did fine on them......

for dunes i would look into a built shee because the power would be good for the dunes and your size:D

I would go for the 650, they are getting pretty cheap and should have plenty of power for ya.

so not a 400ex or 450r? what about a 250r they r supposed to run almost if not as good as a banshee? thanks for all input.

i personally dont like R's. they're ugly, and they are only a 250. i know they are fast and all, but why not just get a shee? besides brand loyalty...but then again i have everything: suzuki, honda, yami, polaris....well almost:p

i think it also depends on how tall you are, have you ever seen a ds650, if you are a real tall guy, there is probably never been a more comfy quad for you. you could also look into a quadzilla 500. they are extremly fast, and are also physicly a very big quad

250r is better than the shee at everything but drags and dunes...if i was you id get a ds but thats me

bombardier makes the ds650. they also make a sick kit for it from rotax or something. if u like 2 strokes id definetly build a dune banshee. if ur not into maintaning ur motors get a 4 stroke

YFZ has better, and updated technology, plus its alot lighter and more stable.

Predator or Built Banshee...hell even a stock banshee...possibly a Quadzilla...if you could keep it running for more then 10 mins tho :ermm:
