Do you just want new valves or is there a problem with your old ones?

Have you considered that your problem may only be the valve seals?

I would say more like the piston rings or the valve seals. You can put the seals in yourself, just get a spring compressor and have fun with the little clips. If it is the rings, you will probably need a piston and ring set and to have the cylinder bored.

Either way, I would take the top end apart. Youll want to replace your rings and valve seals regardless, since they are cheap parts. Youll want to take the top end apart so you can inspect the cylinder and check for any deep scoring. If it is anything more than light surface scratches that dont look like a hone would remove, you must bore it out. Good news is boring is only usually like 50 bucks, but the piston kit will cost you over 100. Do it right man. Replacing rings on a scored out cylinder wont do any good.
