This is my favorite "trick" and it`s my dream to do it but I don`t have a clue how to do it.

Any tips?

i also love whips or whatever you would call it on a quad , i havent gotten as far whipped out as he is but i like to throw alot of style into mine, if your new to riding its going to take you a lil

i dunno if this pic helps i dont know how to explain it but this is first part of one of my "whips" if you could call it that, im still going up

you turn your wheels kind of and twist your body. it is kind of hard ot explain but you'll get it. Watch joe byrd, the man is a beast at pitching his quad. YOu need some strong legs to do it.

i love doing those... i got really good at one point and didnt do them for a wile and got a lil russy and almost fliped... i did a few over the finish line at one race and my dad asked me if i was fixxing a mess up or was i doing that on porsous... he thought the jump was sending me sidways

how i do them is i turn my handle bars to the right and pull up on my right hand and down on my left and push my left foot down... but make sure you keep your body in the same place or you'll pull to the side and your body will go to the side too and you'll have no way of pulling it back over

here is probly one the most baddest ones yet!!!

heres my whip. i have gotten better at them now. yea all you do is pust one side down and one side up and then once you get comfortable doing that you can make them stylish. just remember to flaten out before you land otherwise its rough

well, here's how i do mine...about halfway up the lip of the take off, i throw all of my weight to the left side and as soon as i get off the ground the left side of the quad naturally falls...so i lean off to the right keep the back of my knee on the seat, and turn my right foot in torwards the engine. when you're doing this, you want to turn your back left like you're going to do a 360. then you want to face perpendicular to your seat and helmet parallel to your boot. push down hard on the left side of your bars and push forward as they're turned the farthest to the left they can. then as soon as you're as far off as you can or want to be (3/4 of the jump), pull the bars up to you, straighten them out slowly as you force yourself left to the other side of the bike and the quad will come back.

start out small and be comfortable through your progressions. if you go too big too fast, you're going to either hurt yourself or do a barrell roll . i'm right handed so it's natural for me to hang off to the right having the left of the quad lower. then you can add your own style in once you have it down. once you get really good you should be able to get the quad a good 45 degrees and bring it back to land smoothly. when you race and say you're hitting the start line jump air it and do this, you'll get lots of attention! i look over to the stands and there's always people clapping or smiling. it's pretty cool. sorry if i went overboard with this post, i can't help it. haha. this is the coolest trick you can do with a quad in the air other than a backflip. well, here's some pics.

I havent heard that one("tips") yet. I have mainly heard them called whips. Sometimes pancakeing it, throwing it sideways, and stuff like that.
