I was wondering if anyone knew how to tell what dome was in my cool head? I took it out and it doesent have any markings on it? Also is there a difference in a 87 frame compared to a 88?

Your cool head should have a number stamped on it Are you actually pullint the dome out of the head it should be stamped right on top. 19 18 20 22... as far as the frame goes the mounts are a little different for the swingarm. and maybe the front motor mounts to. I know the motor mounts are a little diff on a 86 compared to a 88
