base gasket

has anyone tried the honda bond ht silicone as the base gasket with the xr400 head gasket? where there any problems with this set up? i am going to use the stock piston and xr400 cam, but i do not have anything to measure the deck height so i am worried about clearance problems. is this a sure " bolt-on" with no problems?

First you should at min get a cheap set of calipers or something to get a measurement, as it may be helpful in the future.
