What would cause a yfz to shoot flames out the pipe when at idle and you blip the throttle? Would that have something to do with the jets? Bike runs awsome.

HMF pipe open airbox 168 main 48 pilot and clip in the 4th notch.

I like it that way... I use it to intimidate my competitiors :p

Ok... that's a lie. But yeah it has to do with the jetting. Been a while since I rejetted mine, but I believe that adjusting the air/fuel mixture screw will solve that problem.

As for jetting... most people replace the stock needle for a YZ450F stock needle, go with a 48 pilot, and somewhere around 168 main.... I believe. Once again it's been a while.

But if you have a freak like mine that runs fine with a 170 main... or with absolutely no main jet at all!!! then you might just throw in what ya have...lol.

have you done the cam mod? if not, you should prolly drop down to a 45 pilot.
