hiper wheels...worth it?

r the hiper wheels worth it to get the carbon fiber or should i spend my money on douglas or a different brand

Hipers are definalty worth it.

Carbon Fiber=Light
Different Color Rings=Awesome
Beadlocks=Keep tire on rim
and THEY LOOK SICK!!


I'd say there worth every penny.

they are well worth the money if you ruin an aluminum beadlock your not going to be buying parts to replace it you will need a new rim.

Hiper wheels for sure!!! I trashed my aluminum wheels very soon, switched to hipers, havent had a problem yet, still going strong, plus if you break the wheel or damage it, it would mainly be the outside ring, which is very cheap to replace, instead of buying a whole new wheel like aluminum

thanks then y do i see all of the pros using the aluminum wheels and not the hipers if there so much better

because huge companies like douglas can throw some of the pros a lot more money than hiper can, its not always about whats best, for the pros they run what pays the most or what will get the job done that race, usually they switch wheels after each race, same goes with tires, Chris Borich runs hipers, and hes doing very well this year, just an example

ok i always wondered bout that because ive only heard good things bout the hipers and could never understand y a lot of the amateurs use them and not the pros. thanks

ya you will usually notice a lot of amateurs going for the best stuff, and the pros going for what pays the most, or gives them the most sutff, because to the pros racing is a job, while to the amateurs its just a day of fun and competition, because they arent making any money lol :p

but hiper is for sure the best wheel out right now, and definantly a good choice :macho

ya the missouri series was close to 200 racers for one of the races this year...173 i believe it was :macho

i could never see racin xc, too scary even though i grew up ridin trails, mx to me is so much more fun big jumps and chit is the way to go! in my last district 4 race there were about 50 quads all together in all the classes and about 30 minis which is good, shows that the sport is growing
