Does 1. CR motor fit into a OEM trx250r frame?
Has anyone done this

i think that it probably would however you would have to make adjustments.

I would think so to but the kick starter would be backwards

why bother? the CR motor is goona have a ****tier tranny, and no counterbalancer

Isnt that what Service Honda is selling now? Except in an EX frame and trim. Ive never heard of anyone having one though.

You will have one hell of a vibration since the motor doesn't have a counterbalancer. If you read about the service honda they built special motor mounts to deal with the vibration.

1fastprototype has one give him a pm and he will answer all questions that u would ever want to know about the Cr250 in a 400ex frame. He races for Service Honda and has quite of few of the service R's
Dont worry bout the counterbalancer... everyone tells me my CR500 engine will rattle my quad apart, well its been 2 years and not even a stress crack anywhere and it does not vibrate as much as you might think once you mount it properly.
