stage 1 ?

I have a stage 1 hotcam which I am fixing to install. I have been reading about the valve train noise. I am just about scared about putting it in b/c valve clicking annoys the heck out of me.

The ?? is, is the ticking worth the power gain, and would I be better off sellint tat cam and buying a different cam or will just about every xc style cam have loud valves?

its funny ive had mine in since february and you can hear them but its not really noticable. my friend on the other hand has an '01 and those things are just annoying to hear. i guess if it is still fairly new the springs are still tight and will keep it quieter, not sure about that though.

if u keep the valve lash adjusted its not that bad, i only notice it when i shift at high RPM's or when it runs real hott

what dos it sound like? and is there a huge power gain by the stage 1 cam
