Coolant

Can anyone recommend and tell me where to purchase a good engine coolant for an 89 250r. Can I use a regular automotive coolant?

pleese do not use regular automative coolant. its hard on the water pump. use half dexcool half distilled water.

I use Engine Ice, it works great for big bore motors.

use hp2 ithink thats what its called? Any ways its made for the 250R by honda. its what i use. Also you dont have to mix water with it. and dont use car coolant because it does mess up your pump and your radiator.

Go to any bike shop and buy the engine ice they claim it makes the motor run 10 degrees cooker make sure to flush the system out before addind get rid of the reguler coolent first....I sell the coolent at the shop for $16.00 a bottle one bottle should do the job.....Chris
