could someone tell me if the factory HRC kit installed from the dealer from day one will void the factory 6 month warrenty. thanks:confused: :confused:

It does not void the warranty.

I had the dealer install it before I even picked it up and they said if anything happens it wouldn't void the warranty. If something is going to happen it will usually happen in the first six months.

when I bought mine, they told me the HRC kit would void the warranty. If you read the packaging with the kit, it says the same thing. It all depends on the dealer because he is the one who makes the call wether or not he warranties the bike or not. What Honda doesn't know will not hurt them.

No it will not void it. I had my HRC cam replaced under warrenty.

From what my dealer told me, the only thing that the HRC kit voids is the warranty on the exhaust b/c of the HRC end cap.:rolleyes: But who knows?

If you read the warrenty section of the manual it says that any parts installed by the dealer before purchase is coverd in the warrenty. Mine had aftermarket exaust and the HRC kit so everything is coverd.
