she dosen't like water why?

I have a 2002 300ex and when i hit a large puddle it spits and sputters and i can hardly keep it running stalls under load. What could be getting wet to cause this. I tryed making a rubber cover for my batt I have also replaced the sparkplug boot . Is the a common problem that causes this that I don't know about?

do you have your air box lid off? if so, that's probably it. when the water goess into the air box it will cause it to bog for a little bit.

Dielectric grease will fix your problem. Just put it on all connections like CDI and even your spark plug and it shoudl solve your problem. You can get it at any auto parts store.

you may also have an exhaust leak at the header, thats what happened to my blaster

When the left side of the bike gets realy wet that seems to cause it and thats where all the electrical is. Where is the cdi box at ?

The CDI should be below the tank/handle bar area. It is a black box attached to the frame. I would just put the dielectric grease on every connector you can find. It will prevent moisture and corrosion from causing you problems. You could let it idle and use a garden hose to find the area that is causing you probs.

Cleaned all the connectors and put dielectic grease on the fixed the problem thank's. It must have been the cdi

Glad to hear it worked for you. If you do that at least once or maybe twice a year you'll minimize any chance of probs in the future.
