I am looking to get a used 2001 Yamaha Wolverine. I have a 2002 Ext Cab Ford Ranger. I was wondering if it will fit in the back (w/ the tailgate down).

The truck specs claim 72.2" x 40.4"
The wheeler specs claim 73.6" x 42.3"

I don't know how accurate these are, but according to the websites it won't fit. If it won't fit, then I am obviously not getting it.

Anyone know for sure it will fit?

Thanks guys ....

well the 40 inch is probably inside the wheel wels. you can go over them. I put a 52" 400ex in a s-10, so you should be ok.

Yeah it should fit,my brother hauls his raptor 660 in the bed of his ranger. Its a little short bed too,so you can fit that wolvy.

we put a sportsman 500 in a S-10 haha

you just have to put it over the wheel wells and leave the tail gate down...

I know a guy who hauls a warrior in a stepside s-10 which has a very small bed so I would bet the Wolverine would fit fine in a ranger.;)
