what it says. im going to try and find a husaberg 501cc and im going to put it into my 400's frame and i figure it will rip. the only proble is that the chain is on the right side so i have to some how flip the swing arm upside down. so im going to try and find machine a swing arm for me. what you guys think.

I'm not too familiar with the swingarm on the 400, but I'd be willing to bet that you could just get away with reversing everything else on the rear. Like turning over the carrier, and putting it in from the other side. same with the axle. Not too sure about chain alignment though. But I bet that wouldn't be too hard to take care of. All in all, I bet if you thought it all through, you could have it all done without too much trouble.

how do you plan on dealing with the linkage if you turn it upside down? I dont think it will work without alot of machining, but good luck with the project

i also think you can get away with just flipping the carrier. at the gncc's last year, there was somebody in the four strok a class with a husaberg in a 250r frame. it looked sweet, but i dont know if i could have gotten used to a kicker on the left side

you can just flip the carrier and the axle. the only problem is that you will need something to stop the rear brake stay from moving around
