I over at the strip over the weekend and there was a snowmobile running 10.2 in the quarter!

That is freaking fast!!!!

There were 2 of them running in the bike class!

I did not catch his MPH but I could guess it like 115- 130.

When they cam out of the hole the skies where in the air for like the first 40 foot!

:eek2:

On Lake Washington in St. Peter, MN a sled was getting 130mph in the 1/5 mile. I don't know what the time was though.

On my dad's ZRT 800 I can get up to 120 in a few seconds. His sled will do less that 12 sec in a 1/4 mile and it is completely stock.

PS: I might have to take over his sled now because he plowed over two of our neighbors 8ft. tall bushes last year. Only thing that was wrong was that his skiies were bent.

If you look close you can see my custom gas tank. ( a windshied washer fluid bottle)

And if you look really close there is a rod that goes from the engine to the tunnle. well that I added to because all the engines torque was snapping the engne mounts. and it adds rigidness to the engine to keep it from rattling so much.

ya, it's the 299cc model. with a seat out of a audi. the whole thing cost me

50$ for snomobile
25$ for used track
50$ for another snomobile for parts
25$ for misc hardware
25$ for car that the seat came out of.

grand total of 175$... wa hoo.
