Hey guys I just purchased a 2001 400ex yesterday and took it riding today. Everything was great until I stalled it and tried to start it again. It wont turn over at all. It will pop start and run great no problem but isnt getting any juice.Heres the details
--Neutral light will not come on
--When you push the start button there is no clicking noise, like its not getting any power at all
--Battery is fine i tested it
--fuse is good i put a new one
--I went thru all the wiring and everything looks good, no loose connections
--I checked the neutral switch and its good
--I tried to bypass the key switch by jumping the wires and start it to no avail
--it runs perfect when i pop start it BUT there is no electric IE no headlights, no neutral switch, no brakelight, NOTHING
Im so confused the bike runs great and is fast BUT it wont turn over. All the plastics are off and its in my backyard waiting for a new life! Please if you have any suggestions. Thanks in advance:confused:
