is this worth it?

my friend has a 2002 400ex that he wants to get rid of,he told me a 120.00 for frame,subframe,motor,axle,and swinger,i was there and the motor runs but it shuts off,it is jetted incorrectly,you think i should pick this one up fix her up and then sell it as a whole?here is a pic of the quad

By "he is getting a YFZ shortly" you mean his parents are buying him one. The kid must've had everything handed to him. What a shame that parents raise a kid to let a 400ex go for 165 dollars. good lord almighty. (who else but a kid would sell a quad for this amount???)

its awesome as hell for you, but I still cant believe that a person could be so stupid/rich to actually do something like that. Bent frame or not, its worth more than that. Unbelieveable.

umm actually,i dont think so about that,he is still debation if he should put the 6 grand into his car that doesnt have a engine or buy a YFZ 450
