I would try a 14 front or the stock gearing or a 39 rear. It depends on your preference. I have used both a 14 and a 39 for my mud sharks that are 21's with douglas .190. The 39 will allow to go alittle faster than the 14. Just my two cents though. Good luck STEVE

Yeah most people do the 14 tooth front as it is more of a notice than a 39 rear and its cheaper.

if you want more pep at lower rpms and more bottom end power go with a smaller front or a larger rear sprocket. if you want a bit more top end, do the opposite.

I would get the 14 if you decide to get a new sprocket. The sprocket for the rear SUCKS to change. You have to take the tire off and all that good stuff. I have a 250r rear sprocket fior my 400ex and I had to drop the skid plate alittle with some washers so it would fit. Good Luck Steve

which way would you go if you wanted the torque in 4th gear that you have in 3rd gear? I have stock gearing with 18" tires and run mx.

if you are already running 18's with stock gearing, that is pretty low. i would consider a cam with more torque if that is what your looking for.
