All the Hinson products are made to be used together and you would notice a huge gain over a stock clutch setup. You could also just get the Hinson basket and the Sparks 8 plate setup.

I got a whole hinson clutch and there is no comparison to stock... Thats why pretty much every pro of every type of ATV racing uses them...

Even if you don't want to spend the money for the basket, a simple 8 plate clutch kit makes a huge difference. I'd look into the one that GT Thunder sells or the Sparks. But you definetely can't go wrong with the full Hinson and 8 plate setup!

The Hinson system is pretty good. Here are the components that I ended up with ...

8 Plate fiber/steel kit. Retail $165

8-Plate kit / Inner Hub, Pressure Plate, Springs & bolts. Retail $299.99

Hinson Basket. Retail $230.00

Hinsons bigger Side Case. Retail $499

Duncan's Replacement Cover (red) Retail $215

After all that, I found that I didnt like the hinson springs - they were not strong enough for the 440 that I built. So I ended up getting stronger ones from someone else.

Im am very content now - :D

The springs hinson suplies are softer than the stock springs. I dont think they would hold a stock motor.
