In one of my magazines it has 10 things that should be done to a blaster and this is what it said.

1. Get wheel spacers ($60 a pair)
2. remove the throttle override system($30)
3. extend the swingarm 2 in.($120 from A&R)
4. get a new silencer($100-$150)
5. remove the oil injection so you can premix($30)
6. get a trenga vented stainless steel rotor($40)
7. buy a vitos degree key($25)
8. remove the snorkel on the airbox or take the lid off, increase the main jet 2 sizes and raise the needle 1 position (this is for a silencer and a 32:1 ratio in dry conditions)($10)
9. K&N air filter($40-$75)
10. last it said to go buy a reed spacer($25)

I hope i helped. This article is from June 2002 Dirtwheels and those are the prices it gave.

i went out and bought msr dominator handle bars, mine were kinda bent and here in canada you cant get much with 130, but my parents owe me 200 so i might get a B1 kit as soon as i get enough money.

I would get that hydraulic brake from trenga. Along with that list from yamaha1470 i'd get a rad valve. If u get a K&N i'd get an underwears for it.

If you want to save on the wheel spacers just do what my cousin did. He just swapped the front wheels around. The only down side is that the valve stems are on the inside now, but it has a much wider stance and helps it handle a little better.

Don't waste your money on a boyeson rad valve, they do nothing. I have one that sits around and collects dust. I would see if you can get a used tri-z 250 axle.
It gave my blaster 1/1/2 to 2 inches on each side. I got one used for 40 bucks and it has held up to jumping. Don't waste your money on a PEP damper either. I went through 2 of them. the seals would blow out. One of the biggest bang for the buck things i did for my blaster was new suspension. I put a set of mohave shocks all the way around. I gained 2 inches of travel and the fronts costs me 100 and the rear was 80. Hope that helped.:)

a pipe and reed makes a big power increase along with the filter, holes in air box lid, and proper jetting you should notice a huge differance in power. Then I would get wheel spacers for it. But really you could just be dumping money into for nothing if you think you are gonna be selling it in the future for a 400ex because when you sell your quad witht he modded parts people don't really wanna pay extra because they figure it has lost reliability and road hard because it need the aftermarket parts.
