brake block off?

what does a brake block off do?

what is the point of advantage of having one???

it gets rid of the parking brake that doesnt work in the first place!! makes the pads last longer!! Takes a little weight off too,, and looks nice!!

What it does is...When you remove your parking braking assembly it leaves an open hole on the caliper. Inside there is the piston that p. brake works. The block off "looks nice" but it also covers the hole so that dirt doesn't get in there.
