The AC pro pegs i just put on my bike are loose..
Every bolt is tight, when i pull up and down on them the move very easy.
It's like the round peg that replaces your stock foot pegs should be longer....
How did you guys fix this, or will they be fine like that:confused:

mine's been like that for a while. It's not a problem. Did you have extra bolts left over? I had a lot left, and later realized that you're supposed to drill through the pegs and into that round piece on the frame and bolt them down.

yep.ur suspose to drill a hole throw ur nerfs and the peg bar,and put teh extra bolts in it,idk y there isn't a whole already there but o well, when u drill teh hole start slowly so ur angle isn't off,try to go straight down, and drill it between the the pegs where they cross, the open spot close to the inside,i wish i had pics but i don't sorry:( hope it helps

wrap the post, that the peg slides onto, with duct tape. Thats what worked for mine.

I THOUGHT ABOUT THAT......

yea i put electrical tape on mine to make it larger in diameter, and to keep metal to metal contact unable,so it would make a streeching sound

yep, the electrical tape did it for me, no more movement

You would think with what these things cost, you wouldn't have to tape them to make them fit....AC makes nothing but JUNK!!!!

nothing like that never fits perfect. Anytime its welded, bent or altered there will be some tweaking.

Mine fit just fine. No tape for a "screeching" sound from metal to metal. If they are installed correctly there should not be any extra movement besides the natural flex the nerfs will have. Drilling through the peg and peg post would be the only thing that I can think of that might be off on your quad. Good luck with that.

I actually drilled 2 holes through the pegs and they still come loose. ALso where they mount to the fram in fron. I had to eggshape that just so they would line up. If anyone wants these things I'll be selling them in a few weeks.

I paid $230 bucks for my AC propegs with heel guards. These things are JUNK!!!! First off the motor mount bolt holes didn't line up correctly. Had to bend and bang to get them to fit. After drilling the holes and putting the bolts in I tightened them super tight and I can still move the nerfs up and down. The nerfs also vibrate when the engine is revved. Did I mention the heel guards are too close to the pegs. These thing are nothing but JUNK!!! I'm going try another brand. Sorry for the long post.

Paid 200 for mine and everything lined up perfect. No problems here for me. A few of my buddies got the same ones and no problems at all. :macho
