400ex bogs after gets hot?! wtf?

ok yea i got my HMF full system and uni filter blablabla and then jetted it. the plug is a perfect tan color. but today when i was out riding after about 10 mins somthen went HORRIBLY wrong.. huge bogs like i push past 1/4 thorttle and notthing was happening. i went home, checked my plug and its still perfect color. i think the cord that attaches to the spark plug was not on very good and was propably bouncing off as i went over bumps. what else could have caused such a thing??? theres is no smoke or anything....so i dunno wat happend...it appears to run fine now but im afraid when i hit the trails tomro it might happend agian in the first 10-15 mins of riding..WATS GOING ON!!!!!!!!!!!!:rolleyes: :huh :grr: :mad:

The main jet may have fallen out, carefully remove the drain plug and see if it's sitting in there.

So it's running fine at all throttle positions? If so my first reply dosen't apply:p

thing is im ridin tomro and i dont want to happen wat happend to today to happen agian...........it would ruin my day.

is your throttle adjusted right? is it opening, also make sure you didnt leave your choke on by mistake thats happened to me before.

Check to make sure you have the choke off and you have plenty of gas in the tank.

Perhaps bad ground? Something wigglin loose and causin engine to almost cut out, or is it just Bogging? If its boggin, I would say shes rich, but yer plug says otherwise. Make sure their is nothing plugging yer jets too.
