I just got my yz400 conversion all done and man it is sweet..well the only question I have is that I still have my OMF airscoops for my 400ex and they still mount, but I dont know if they would do any good or should I look for some 250R shrouds?? Anyone??

they may help out a little if they direct the air towards the motor but if they direct the air more towards the rad id sat
KEEP THEM ONB THERE it depends on where they navigate the air to maybe try and bend them a little so they direct most of the sir to the radiator

ALSO off topic but how much work was involved in the build? im thinking of moving up in motor size how was mounting the motor in the frame, lining up chain, mounting radiator, motor mounts, exhaust, and all that stuff was it hard easy etc. if you PM me about this the help is GREATLY appreciated thankx

Well they direct air towards the radiator and I know they would work, but not sure how well because they sit kinda high and seem like they put alot of air to the top of the rad and not the bottom..Your PM'd about the conversion

If you'd like, post or send me a pic. I may have something that will work. I need some close ups of your front end and radiator.

Looks like you got everything plumbed in pretty good. Your pics have way too much shadow. Any way you could take a better pic of the front side ( showing the radiator from the side) ?

y not make your own, just go down to a home depot or sheet metal shop and get some aluminum or zinc, start out with a ceral box template and go from there, i did my own and it came out pretty well, sorry no pics (not my comp)
