best way to ship a frame

i need to ship a frame. whats the best to wrap it or box it and who to send it.

UPS,FED EX or DHL

most people fashion a box and tape it up.

DHL was only $22 for my ATC frame which was boxed, 4' long and 41 pounds. I doubt anybody else could beat that. And it went half way across the country in 2 days!
