400ex rear shock

I know the front 400 shocks won't work on the 300 but will the back one fit. I'm waitin for Jeff cause I know he has a lot to say about these things. are they the same length? I'm lookin on ebay and I could get a ultracross works for a 400ex pretty cheap and I just wanted to know if I could make it work for my 300ex. thanks

i would also like to know but i can bet they dont because of the linkcage and the rezzi and i think thwe rezzy hits our airbok and there would be no way to mount the linkage

will not fit..... to long, rezzy in the way, 400ex runs a lower shock link and 300ex does not.
