Cobra exhaust?

Im trying to save money on a full exhaust for my 300ex. Does anyone have any input on the cobra exhaust. I know its the cheapest but I just use my quad for recreational riding and will probably be selling it in a about 2 years. Will i get a noticable improvement in performance and still have a good loud sound?

you will lost power with a cobra exhaust,your better to stay with the stock one

if you want noise and a loss of power then get the cobra...I did when I first had my 400ex and during day time I would have cobra on and night I would put stock so the neighbors wouldn't get mad

go with a DG,dont listen to these clowns on here:D i bet gust could win with a dg exhaust,especially if he was getting paid to run them.there are others pipes out there that perform besides,sparks,hmf etc.. these guys talk up those products like they work for the companies:D dg will be louder than stock though.good torque as well

i got the DG excellerator stage one for my ex and its great. the power gains were all low end, but it is kinda loud( i think 101 db.). it does have a nice deep sound to it. i got mine for 170 with s/a at www.team11moto.com

Just exactly how do you lose power with a more free flowing exhaust?? Unless your not intelligent enough to rejet to notice any gains, in which case ANY pipe would make less power.

I had a cobra on my 86 200x, what a heap of crap, less power than stock and it felt it too. I rode it once and then bought the spark arrester for it so it didn't hurt my ears so bad and it actaully performed BETTER with the spark arrester.

just get an hmf slipon there only like 230 there a very good exhaust
