Broken Bolt

One of the small bolts in the valve cover broke of in the head during rebuild. Thinking off leaving it, there are alot of other bolts. Is this a bad idea or any suggestions on getting it out?

I had one of the long valve cover bolts to break off on my 300ex and i ran it for a while without it ever leaking.I've also had one that was stripped and it did leak.You can try riding with the broken bolt,just keep checking often to make sure it isn't leaking,but the best thing would be to go ahead and get it fixed.

I got the bolt out with a screw extractor and got it back together.I think it will be fine. thanks

good, I stripped one, and it leaked like siv

I did the same exact thing on a xr80. I touqued it doun, then thot there was no way that was tight enouf, so I tightened it some more then snap. i used a punch and a hammar and just turned it out. it sucked.
