Finally got the cast off, rode again

Just thought Id post a thread lettin anybody whos got an injury or was hurt ridin that you may feel stupid or like a total s^#t right now, but it happens to the best of em. I had a cast on my arm for 6 weeks and now that I look back it feels like no time. I luckily didnt have it that bad, I Just hope that anybody whos hurt can get well soon n get back to doin what all of us on here love.

Thanks for the comments guys, i just got a pair of Thor Quadrant Boots, really nice boots for the price. Also, Cut fenders=poser?, lol, no offense taken, I just dont understand

I think I have the same helmet as you, lol and same rear tires, and same chest protector

Glad to hear your riding again. How did you break it tho? I know it sucks when i srewed my knee i didn't ride for a month or so it sucked.

i wont be back on my quad for a while my left humerous is broken i just had surgery on it monday may the 9th...they had to go down thru my rotar cuff with a rod and then had to put 2 screws in the lower part of my arm....i had 13 staples total in my arm...doc said 3 months before i get full use of my arm back

Ouch man, that hadda hurt. I luckily didnt wreck my 300, cuz I just messed up overshooting a slightly downhill double

yea i wrecked my 400 too...didnt do any damage to my bike...i got my hospital bill yesterday 10,255 dollars....thats only the hospital bill that aint including the surgeon's fees or the anestetics

2 years ago.....
on my bmx bike I hit a jump. I landed in some sand and went over the handle bars. on my way over I maged to catch my shorts on the handlebars. then somhow in the mix my balls got riped open by the handle bar. OUCH. 2 weeks later I was up and going. 64 stiches, still a big scar.

It feels good to get out and ride again after an accident doesnt it:D How do you think i felt 3 1/2 months in a cast in the summer:p

I too just got the thumbs up from my doctor to get back on the quad. I stiff armed a landing while racing and shattered my wrist. In a cast for a month then the doctor decided to put screws and a plate in it. (Only because of 2 weeks after the original break I fell on it and broke it again) So I've been in a brace for the past 2 months. I am now sporting 6 screws and a 4 inch "L" shaped metal plate in my wrist. My wrist now costs more than my quad!:eek2:

i would of had a metal plate in my arm i snapped both bones in my arm, but nurses cant read charts so im 10 years old so im not old enough to get surgery.:rolleyes:

yea right now my arm is costin me more than my quad....the hospital bill alone was 10,255.00...that aint including any surgeons fees or anestetics....im going to say my bill is proally going to be every last bit of 18-20k

ill just be glad when i can get full use of my arm back because when i can im goin to the mx track
