View Full Version : 87-92 piston in 85-65 LT250R?

I am in the process of rebuilding a 1985 lt250r and I cant find a psiton anywhere for it. It needs to be .80 over and I would prefer wiseco. I have heard trx250r pistons work in the lt's, so I figured the later style lt pistons might work too. Thanks!

It's the same engine minus a few minor updates.

i too have heard of honda pistons in the suzuki motors,not sure which years though.:confused:

Actually, the 87 and up to 92 were powervalve motors. That makes me think a Honda piston would be closer...

The 87-92 lt 250r has a different bore and stoke than the 85-86. I can get you an .080 over piston for the 85-86. I checked stock at my dist and they have them :)

Oops.. I misread.. lol I swore he was asking if the 250r 3-wheeler piston would work in the TRX. ;)

My bad. My brain shuts down on fridays.. lol.
