ok i have a 416ex with a hotcam stage 1 and it pings i was just wondering if there is anyway to adjust them to keep them quieter

Is it pinging or ticking?

I've heard the the HotCams 1 has a loud tick to it which is supposably normal.

Pinging occurs when the motor is under load, like when you're accelerating or going uphill. It will sound like marbles hitting metal.

it is a tick but i was just seeing if there is anyway to make it a little quieter

check valve lash,also make sure timing chain isnt stretched beyond the range of the tensioner.look on this forum for the proper procedure for valve adjustment if you arent up on it.god day mate:)
