you are correct, you don't know much about these quads. The frame by itself is about 3600, new bike to steal motor from about 6,000, a arms 900, shocks (3)2200, and then all the other misc parts to build the rest. Yes, he is a little hi asking 10 G's for an 01 but to build them it is very hi priced.

$10,000 is a pretty good chunk or money for this quad but, I do have alot more than that in it. The big thing about any laeger bike, especially the ones that have the yamaha or honda bike motors, is this very important fact; you cannot get one any more. Laeger will not build a frame for anybody. It doesn't matter how much money you have, they will simply not do it.
Thats why they demand the money that these bikes do. I do have some pictures available on request but if you are not seriously considering buying this bike please do not waste my time. This bike is worth every dollar and then some.

Actually I forgot one thing. The protrax front end by itself without shocks, runs for about $2400-$2700 depending on who you get your parts from. Remember the front end comes complete from laeger, with all the t-pin parts, steering stem, a-arms, and spindles.
To replace the spindles by themselves is $1600. The TRX is a nice bike but I am not interested in a trade. I had a full race TRX with some of the best parts available and although I hate to admit, I didnt care for it very much. It was plenty fast enough I just couldnt get the bike to handle the way it should have.

Why is everyone giving this guy a hard time over the price he set. If it's to high for you move on to another ad. Then they call it a hybrid. I hate to say it but I built a LSR CRF 450 quad and it outhandles and out runs a TRX with both having close set ups. The price he set is actually pretty good. A new YFZ is around 7gs and then add a 2-3g front end to that. Good Luck selling

If you didn't already know, and if this is an actual frame built for the CRF engine and not a 350x frame modified, then there's only about 7 of these bikes that were ever made. This being said, that's a very reasonable price for the actual cost of the parts this guy has in the CRF.

If it is a TRUE Laeger CRF frame, send me some pictures. With it being a 01 I assume it is a converted laeger frame, I could be wrong though and hope I am... farmbig_01@hotmil.com
