View Full Version : Finally, NEW QUAD!

Well i picked it up today, 2004 YFZ450, this thing freakin FLYS, i have never been on anything this fast, coming off a 300ex, its pretty scary. Its got renthals, fmf titanium slip on, gytr bumper/nerfs. It wasnt in top condition but there isnt anything wrong with it, its been rode hard, but not real real hard, so its still good to go, pretty much normal wear/tear for a mx machine. The thing had a twist throttle on but the guy gave me the thumb as well which i have already put back on, i just about killed myself with the twist. Anyways heres a pic from the ad he posted for it.
Oh yea its got some decent fmf graphics on it, im not to big on fmf, so they will soon be replaced. Oh yea, and it was only 4500!

Thanks, well i got the thumb throttle on, its deff more controlable now.
Another thing, when it rev it high then it backfires, should it be throwing a little bit of flame out? or is something f-ed up?

Your jetting is off, get that fixed. I bet it wasn't jetted for the slip on. It is too lean.
