I have beaten every banshee I have come across so far. The only one that was a tie was one that was worked by trinity. Stock and ones with pipes are no problem at all
banshee, those things are fast with pipes and stuff

with pipe, air intake, jetting, (no motor work) the YFZ will take them everytime, unless you have a rider on the YFZ with little/no experience. Even with moderate motor work on both, the YFZ should still be quicker/faster. Thats why I sold my banshee and kept my YFZ.

I had a piped Banshee and it felt like it was a little faster in acceleration and definately more top end than a stock YFZ. Then once I got it ported and got bigger carbs there was no comparing the two.
I haven't ridden a piped YFZ yet (still haven't gotten mine piped) so I don't know how they would compare in that category.
Stock for stock I think the YFZ would win though.

I've had a built Raptor that I used to drag against yfz's and long-rod banshee's. A 690 raptor is fast, but a well built yfz vs. a well built banshee is very close, I think at least. It's like the guy above said, whoever is the better rider has the biggest advantage, motor work helps to a point, but riding and shifting are what it comes down too.
later homie
