i was wondering if any body knew the price that some air bags out of a 96 ford windstar gl would go for any info would be great

About 2 legs and one arm....JK

Bags for my 96 Mustang, out of a junkyard AT COST, free installation (buddy owns the shop), comes to about $800!!!

They are not cheap by any means.

ebay, you'll get tehm cheaper there then anywhere else.

You need to by them new. Atleast in NY. You will probably have to shove out about a grand or more for one air bag.

That is way to much! Prices for things never go down unless you like green beans or something! They go down every week here at shop n save:D

I say use a trash bag or two:o

You can try to sell them, but like I said, new york laws say that you can't buy used air bags to put into cars any more. People would steal them out of cars and then sell them because they are worth so much, so there's the reson for the law.

Why would you trust your life to a air bag out of a wrecked car?
Im an acura tech, I know first hand why you never buy anything but a NEW air bag. You dont know what your getting. There is a reason air bags are so exspensive, they work!
Now if you do find a buyer for those used (but not deployed)bags, you should tell the buyer that the SRS control unit needs to be replaced at the same time.

Oh, and keep the connectors shunted so you dont have an accedental deployment. Air bags are very dangerous if not handled properly.
They are fun to detonate in the yard though:D A passenger side dual stage air bag will shoot over three stories high if you set it up correctly.:devil:

3 stories eh?:devil: but yea they have never been deployed er nething brand new then engine in the van just finally went n i new airbags are worth a decent amount i was just wonderin how much exactly
