Is there a kit smaller than a 330

I want a 330kit but I would have to put a oil cool on and I am not sure if i could aford all that. I am only 18 years old and in school. But i was wondering if there is a kit smaller than a 330 that would not need a oil cooler. I do alot of mx racing and some trail riding.

You don't need a "kit" to increase power. You can get a good increase with a higher compression piston and a camshaft (may need stiffer valvesprings, and possibly hardened rocker arms to go with the camshaft).

well i was thinking on a stage 1 web cam but i can not find a piston .010 over ever place i go to does everthing in .mm and I dont know what .010 is in mm

there is the powroll 313cc kit.www.powroll.com if you go cam get a stage 2 or 3.

you dont need to buy an oil cooler if you get the 330 kit or you could just bore your 300ex .80 over with high comp. piston and get a race cam and it will run great my 330 kit has been in it for 4 years without an oil cooler and is still running strong :devil:

1mm is about 0.040", so .010 is right about 0.25mm.

However, I think most overbores are done in increments of .020, which would be 0.5mm.

FYI Oil coolers are only about $25. Don't buy a made for ATV Oil cooler (like JAG). Just buy a transmission cooler form an autoparts store. What do you think they use? ;)

All you really need is a High Comp 11:1 piston and a new Cam and you'll see a noticable difference.

the bore does almost nothing, you could have a .020 300ex w/ good port and polish, stage 3 cam, 11:1 compression, and all that and it will out do the 330 (revs faster)
