View Full Version : in a dilema... what to do? +2 or +3

ok so right now i am running jd +2 a-arms with elka triple rates... i was wondering if i should get +3's roll design lobo II. how diffrent would it be with the +3's. would it be worth the money. would i need long travel shocks? would i be able to ride at all with the shocks i have? thanks

you would only need long travel shocks with loong travel a-arms and since yuo would prolly have to revalve the elkas for the +3 you might as well spe4nd the extra money to get long travel.

The Lobo II's are long travel arms, so yes you would need long travel shocks.

The Lobo 2 comes with everyhting u need, shocks,a-arms,tie rod ends, tie rods, correct me if im wrong

You are correct Roll sells his front ends as packages but you can just buy the aarms and send your shocks to elka and have them reworked to long travel spec for roll lobo II front end. It cost 300 and you will getlonger shafts new springs, revalved and fresh seals and oil. Elka is good with this. It will be the same shock as they just reuse you shock bodies and rezzis. It will save you 700 to a 1000 dollars!!!

if i were to get +3's would i need to get a longer swinger our would it not matter?

not matter. That is a differnt set of issues.
