Question about new helmet

I just got my fox helmet in today,question is i hate that new smell they have,should i throw the insides in the washer and put it on like deliquete(sp?) to get that nasty smell out?or wash them by hand?

the liner is supposed to be washable it if is removeable, so I guess wash it? :confused:
