a/c pro nerf bars

hey guys i just installed my a/c pro nerfs on my 2005 honda 450r they look great a bit of a pain to get on but oh well .my question now is for the heel guard do i really need to drill through the foot peg in order to keep them on the foot pegs ...thanx guys

yup,its not that hard,just took about a minute for me to drill through them,just keep pressure on it because i let off for a second and the bit caught on the steel and the drill slammed me right in the shin

just take a punch and hit it where you want to drill it and drill away. That simple.

thanx guys i know it is easy to do but what i want to know is do i really have to drill through them or no only because i just had them powder coated and all

it would be in your best intrest to drill into your footpegs to put on the nerf bars. if you dont they wont be on fully and could easily bend if you put any pressure on them.
