Ok, i'm getting tired of the dreaded "arm pump" But, i refuse to stop riding and i DON'T want a twist throttle. Does anyone know if there's a way to lighted the tension on the throttle spring? Does anyone make a lighter spring?

Take the spring out and slip it over a pencil or something with the same diameter. Now take a file and file the outside edge of the spring to make the wire diameter smaller. Make sure you do it evenly and not to take off too much. It also helps to lube your cable often!

It would probaly be easier to do it with a bench grinder. I did on my dirt bike but i donn't have the right throttle cable. But i got the idea from LRD.

I would either lube the cable or replace it. A new cable is only about $12-15. ;)

I took the spring out entirely on my throttle housing. Might not have been the best idea from a safety standpoint but I did notice a nice difference in the push on the throttle.
