Sprockets

I have a 02 300 ex..have dont everything else to the engine besides doing internal mods..was wondering if changin the front or rear sprockets makes a big diff? i do not wanna lose bottom/mid end power but i do wanna gain top speed...so wil chanin the sprockets help me out here. thks:)

Put a 14T front sproket on. You will not lose very much bottom end power, it will actualy make it better to ride. Honda geared it to low, just like they do with all of there 4-wheel drive quads also. The chain will just have to be adjusted some for the bigger sproket. Try it and you should like it.

if u dont wunna lose botom or mid end dont get a 14t sproket it looses too much power

Sounds like you might need to keep the gearing that you have and do some other engine mods to gain top speed and keep your bottom/mid power. (Cam?)
