I got a pair of Kenda Klaw XCR size 20-11-9 from Rocky Mountain several weeks ago. I got them mounted last week and even though they are the same tire, same name, same size moulded on the tire, but, one tire is a half an inch taller and even looks different. Has anyone seen this before?
Thanks,
LM

I would call rocky mtn, and send them back. One of them may be a blem tire.

I called and the girl told me to call back tomorrow because her manager was gone. How can I tell a blem tire from another?
Thanks,
LM

One being a 1/2 inch taller than the other and looking noticably different would be a sign. ;)
Are you sure you let the bead setting pressure out? Make sure they are both around 4 - 5 psi and not 20, lol.

A friend of mine came over last night and took a measurement. He came up with 1/4" difference. They only look different because of the appearant size of one of them. Everything except the 1/4" or so height difference is the same. Should I worry about it? The tire preasure for both tires is 4lbs. I don't notice any difference when I am riding. Of course anything else is better compared to the crap I had on there before.

With equal pressure you should be able to tell riding a wheelie. If the one tire is taller you won't ride straight.
