I originally had this quad for sale last summer, but backed out of selling it as I didn't receive any reasonable offers. This time around I will sell this to the best offer with no regrets. I am asking $2900 for this quad. If you are interested just make an offer and you might be the one to take it. I am the original owner and purchased this in April 2000, this quad was never wrecked or modified. I put full skidplates (a-arms, chassis and swingarm) on this quad when I bought it. A-arms and Body plates are DG and the swingarm skidplate was just recently replaced with a PRM. A little history of the quad goes like this. I bought this in April of 2000 and rode it about once every other weekend until August where I broke my ankle so I couldn't ride for the rest of the year. 2001 was the year I used the quad the most as I had it out a total of about 20 times. 2002 this was rode twice, 2003 5 times and 2004 once. I started playing in a band in 2002 so for weekends I was no longer free to ride. I just start her up occasionally and take her for a ride in the yard. Just a litttle over a month ago I bought new rear rims/tires, ac nerfs and an ac bumper as I was planning on getting into riding heavily this season. Well, I took the quad out for an hour since I bought those and that was it. The main reason I don't ride is because you have to truck the quad somewhere to ride, I don't own a truck so it's a pain for me finding someone to go with. I was planning on buying something to haul it and that's why I bought rims, etc..but I decided it's just too much of an investment for something I hardly do so I'll just take the loss. So for 2005 this quad has an hour on it and I won't be taking it out ever again. The engine was never touched and the only aftermarket performance part ever done was a K&N Air Filter was added. In 2003 I added the TrailTech Endurance Computer http://www.trailtech.net/computer_atv.htm which has some very nice features for keeping up on maintenence. The front tires are the original stock tires and will probably need to be replaced soon. This might give you an overall idea on how much this quad was used. Well I cannot write forever so if anyone is out there looking into buying a new 400EX. My advice is save yourself a lot of money and think about buying this one. After a few rides on a new 400EX compared to this one you won't notice a difference (except for no reverse). It's not worth buying new if you find a good deal like this. I wish I would have known I was going to lose more than half my investment. I would have made sure I rode this thing a lot more or sold it sooner. Sorry for the book as I am trying to be as honest and detailed as possible. Lastly a Moose ATV Cover is included as well as a lock to put around the sprocket and chain. If you have any questions please ask.
