What are you guys running in your 416ex.......

well inside the motor in mine i have
JE 11-1 piston
Hotcams stage 3 cam
TMM degree
crf450 dirtbike timing chain
xr400 gaskets
duncan shorty pipe
stock carb
NGK plug
and i run 89 octane gas on that and no pinging :eek2: runs strong just wish i went with a stage 1 cam for the track instead

why do you wish u went with the stage 1?

also how much do titanium valves cost?

JE 11:1 piston
stock thickness gaskets (as not to effect timing)
stock cam (I like it better for rec riding)
CRF450 timing chain
Kibble White valve springs
Mild port & polish
HMF slip-on
stock carb
42 Pilot jet (on the rich side but helps with starting and idleing)
160 Main Jet (165 was a bit too rich)
93 octane gas
Rotella T full synthetic 5w-40 motor oil (changed every 2 tanks of gas, $13.00 per gallon is cheap, new oil filter every other oil change)
14 tooth front and 38 tooth rear sprockets.

My motor is setup for reliability not all out performance.

- my own aggressive port and polish
- Tusk HD clutch
- Magura hydraulic clutch
- FST oil cooler
- 450R carb w/168 main jet and 48 pilot
- ZAPS CDI(like White Brothers)
- UNI filter
- 50/50 race gas mix(mine pinged at the dunes without the mix)
- Stock exhaust modified into a straight through shorty exhaust
- Powerbomb header
- Mobile 1 red cap or Rotella 5W-40 synthetic oil

i wish i went with the stage 1 because i have a MX/ woods riding style which requires tourque and thats what the stage1 produces and mines the opposite:(
