1998 Honda CBR600F3 For Sale

It is unfortunately time to part with my baby. I am selling my 98 Red/Black CBR600F3 with about 9800 miles. I am also throwing in my Shoei RF800 helmet size xl(clear and mirrored shields), an HJC helmet size l(was my wife's, used twice), a cordura nylon riding jacket with body armor, HJC Full Leather high cuff racing gloves, and a Fox Tank Bag. I put brand new Dunlop tires on front and rear less than a thousand miles ago. I replaced the air filter, oil, and oil filter about 300 miles ago. The carbs were taken off the bike and cleaned about a year ago. I try to keep it in tiptop condition. It is a really nice bike. I have a Two Brother's racing pipe on it. There are a few small scratches where I dropped it over on top of my leg while in a parking lot :grr: I want $4200.00 for everything.

Sorry, the only trade I would be interested in is for a 2002 or newer Honda 4x4. I can't plow the driveway at my new house with the CBR and need to either buy a 4x4 or trade for one.

if you trade in a 98 F3 with 10,000 miles, you might get $2,000.00 if you get lucky............it sucks, but thats the rip off in trading.

That is a nice bike. I ride a 96' f3. red, black, and white.
I just bought mine in feb. for 4000 so 4200 is a good price I think. well worth every penny. I dropped a tooth on the front sprocket and added 3 to the back and now it wheelies like a champ. Not quite as quick as the new 600's but definately quick enough!

I took good care of the bike and hate the thought of getting rid of it but I cannot plow the driveway with it when we get hit by a blizzard. I am also trying to sell it locally and $4200 seems to be a fair price according to the local dealer I am friends with. If it sells great but if not oh well worst case scenario is I keep my bike:D .

Would love to have a crf but really need to get a 4x4. Last time I rode dirtbikes hard I ended up breaking my hand in 5 places and wearing a cast for a couple months. I can't ride on 2 wheels like I used to so I tend to shy away from them. Infact I have a 96 KDX200 that I barely ride. But thanks for looking.

I got a mint 2001 400ex with a 2005 conversion. Few extra mods but, Very clean, maintained, adult owned, and barely ridden. Plus $500 cash is all i can do.. It may be easier to trade the 400 for a 4x4 then a crotch rocket, not sure.. Let me know either way though. Located right across the border 2mins from Easton/Bethlehem in jersey. If not good luck. Very nice bike. I had a F2 as my first.. wouldn't mind pickin up another!.. lol!:D Heres a quick pic of my 400...
